We’ve been tenants of St. Helens Marina for the last 12 years, and couldn’t be happier.  We’ve taken several major (months- or years-long) cruises out of the country, and we always held our breaths on the way back home, hoping that Brad would have space for us upon our return.  Mostly we were in luck, although once we had to wait several months until a slip was available.

The marina is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly, professional and very quick to respond to any requests for assistance or information.  The community of boaters who have their boats at St. Helens Marina is warm, friendly and welcoming.  I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the marina to any Portland area boaters looking for a new home for their boat.

Nice people, good facilities, I had a good experience all around and I have been mooring my boat with these kind folks for 15 years.

For several years, this has been my stopping point to buy fuel. Two years ago, I moved my boat to winter here rather than in Portland. What a difference. My boat wintered very well with no east winds pounding on her and no jet fuel residue. Best of all, a very helpful and friendly group to work with.

In my opinion this is the best place in the area for fuel. The diesel is cycled frequently as the US Army Corps of Engineers fills the big survey boat here. 10 cents off fuel for cash/debit and an additional 10 cents for 100 gallons or more. Gasoline is ethanol free. Very kind family run marina. The fuel dock and store have a basic supply of marine items, and snacks.
