St. Helens Sailing Club is based at St. Helens Marina. On Thursday evenings in the spring and summer, you’ll see numerous sailboats departing the marina and heading out for the open water to the north of Sand Island. These are members of the St. Helens Sailing Club, and Thursdays are their race nights. New members are welcome, including owners of both sailboats and powerboats. Many non-sailing activities occur over the course of the year, including cruises and a pig roast on Sand Island. Check out the club’s Facebook page!
